The cpanel-mcp plugin: manage cPanel hosting
cpanel-mcp bundles a cPanel UAPI MCP server into Claude Code, so you can manage a shared-hosting cPanel account - email, DNS, files, MySQL, SSL, cron, subdomains, and more - from a session.
Install
claude plugin install cpanel-mcp@robworks-claude-code-plugins
First-run setup
/cpanel-mcp:setup
Setup collects your cPanel host and an API token. If you manage more than one cPanel account, switch between them with:
/cpanel-mcp:account-switch
What you can do
Create and manage email accounts and forwarders, edit DNS zones, browse and manage files, create and manage MySQL databases and users, install or inspect SSL, set up cron jobs, and manage subdomains.
Good to know
- You need a cPanel account with API-token access. Generate the token inside cPanel, under Security -> Manage API Tokens.
- It targets shared cPanel hosting specifically - if your host uses a different control panel, this won’t apply.
- Some actions (deleting an email account or database) are destructive; confirm before running them.
